Serving the Venice Area Community

  • Kind Words from Venice Families

Dr. Wendy Ying & her partner Kyle were the only people that answered their phone at 4:30pm when we were in distress with our 10 yr old Brittany, Kacey, as he was beginning to actively die from Spleen Cancer, Kidney Failure, and Anemia. We had kept him alive for almost 4 months since this awful diagnosis. Kyle explained everything clearly over the phone to me and he and Dr. Ying came over literally immediately 45 minutes later. They were very kind & professional. Gave us time to talk to Kacey before the procedure started. Kacey was immediately calm as the Anesthesia & pain killers took effect. We asked Dr. Ying & Kyle to please sit with us to make sure Kacey didn’t react to the Anesthesia. When we were ready, we gave Dr. Ying the go ahead to administer the final injection into his vein. She was PRECISE!! We watched as Kacey died extremely peacefully in front of us. Then, Dr. Ying works with a fantastic Pet Cremation provider who was already waiting outside to take Kacey for Cremation. Dr. Ying’s Fee was well worth it to have her come immediately out of the blue to a complete strangers house plus her and Kyle’s friendliness & professionalism & caring were worth every dollar. She was the ONLY home Euthanasia Vet to answer their phone and come out immediately. You will be very pleased that you called her.
